Lumina is an invoice and payment workspace for Nigerian small businesses, freelancers and agencies — the clarity of serious finance software, minus the ceremony.

  1. 01Worked across the responsive product app and the public marketing site.
  2. 02Structured invoice, payment and receipt states around one billing journey.
  3. 03Kept status language consistent across the app, the API and the marketing copy.

Marketing site, product app and API are separate. Invoice, payment, reconciliation, receipt and audit-log flows meet in one product — so state and status language have to stay consistent everywhere.

Challenge

Small teams need the clarity of serious finance software without the ceremony that usually comes with it.

Approach

Organise the product around the invoice lifecycle — deliberate states, useful defaults and readable customer-facing output.
